ENEM14014 Thermofluid Engineering

Course details

This course provides students with opportunities to develop and demonstrate their professional capabilities in the field of thermofluid engineering. They analyse, explain and evaluate performance of air-conditioning and refrigeration plant; and mass, heat and energy transfer processes in industrial plant and processes. Students describe types and characteristics of fluid machinery, apply theory of energy transfer to its operation, and analyse complex fluid flows using computational methods. They apply discipline theories and methods to design, implementation, operation and maintenance of industrial mechanical systems. Students are required to show they can work both individually and collaboratively, to solve problems, and document and communicate their work clearly in a professional manner.
