EDED11400 Managing Diversity

Course details

This course introduces students to a range of issues associated with 'inclusion' for students with diverse learning needs. Students will identify various types of special needs, impairments, gifts and talents and explore strategies for creating inclusive learning environments. In addition, students will examine how learning managers create culturally sensitive approaches to engage learners from indigenous and other cultural backgrounds. This course will focus on developing the skills, attitudes, processes and knowledge to effectively manage diverse learning environments.
