THTR11121 Theatre Studies 2

Course details

Students undertake a discursive study of the evolution of musical theatre and, in particular, of the forms and styles of performance from the early 20th Century through to current productions. An analysis of historical critical reception is placed in the context of convergent media ownership and the re-positioning of musical theatre as corporative product.
