Course details
Students who successfully complete this course have the knowledge, attitudes and skills required to promote supportive and inclusive learning environments. The course firstly explores the concept of diversity in terms of the broad range of backgrounds and abilities students bring to the learning environment. How to create inclusive and culturally responsive learning experiences that accommodate students¿ diverse needs is studied in depth. Secondly, behaviour management models and policies are examined with the aim of developing a range of preventive and corrective pedagogies that promote a positive learning climate and optimise learning outcomes for all students.
