This course is an introduction to graphic design and publication production. Fundamental design principles are explored as students apply their theoretical and practical skills to a range of layout examples through the construction of a design portfolio. NOTE: To study this course it is essential that students have access to a computer (PC or Macintosh) and the software, Adobe InDesign CS2. The computer needs to be connected to a printer (colour or black and white); and a CD-ROM drive with burner.
