Course details

This course provides an elaborate discussion and analysis of a modern financial system - its structure, operations, role and function in national and global contexts. Areas covered include an overview of modern financial systems, financial instruments (short-term and long-term) and their pricing in primary and secondary markets, global financial markets, foreign exchange markets, derivative markets and instruments, and the ways in which a risk preference or aversion can be effectively reflected in making investment choices.
