ENAE12009 Electrical Services and Protection

Course details

This course introduces current concepts, principles and methods used in design of electrical services and protection in installations, buildings and systems. Students analyse projects and problems, design basic electrical services and protection installations and systems by applying standards, codes and legislation, and prepare project documents and drawings. They develop skills in communicating and presenting technical information, planning and managing design projects, and working professionally and learning both collaboratively and independently.
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to have access to a computer and to make frequent use of the Internet. They also require access to Computer Aided Drafting software to complete assignment tasks.
