EDED20480 History and Contemporary Uses of Simulation

Course details

This course provides participants with conceptual and practical skills in developing a definition of simulation, developing an understanding of the historical events that influenced the use of simulation for learning, describing teaching and learning models and their influence on learning through simulation, appreciating the benefits and problems in using simulation for learning and how it is currently used. In addition some insight into future applications for simulation technologies in education and training will be gained.
