THTR12112 Principal Dance Studios 3

Course details

This course examines the process in developing an individual response to physical movement language and dance forms derived from various sources. Extended demands on physical expression, including some solo work, are developed by the student in tandem with more sophisticated aspects of the choreographic craft. Contextualised readings in contemporary dance history will inform a critical analysis and critique of an individualized movement language as it develops.
