MUSC11402 Principal Jazz Studios 2

Course details

Students completing the "Principal Jazz Studios" series of courses will undertake individually supervised practical music studies in one instrument or voice. Students completing these courses will explore the practical application of materials and styles of jazz and popular improvisation relevant to the student¿s particular instrument. These courses aim to develop in the student the highest possible interpretative and executant ability of the chosen repertoire. These courses will focus on the technical and performance elements of musical presentation. Students are expected to demonstrate cumulative levels of skill and knowledge through this series of courses.
