Course details

This Unit introduces you to the incredible learning possibilities afforded by technologically mediated tools and media. You will explore contemporary learning approaches and analyse the usage of a wide range of educational technologies. As part of an integrated and authentic assessment, you will establish your own professional Blog and begin an online professional e-learning portfolio that can be used for promotion, employment applications and developing collegial networks and partnerships.

As part of the courseware you will also apply what you have learned to a portion of an existing Unit/Course you teach and exhibit the innovation and results in your portfolio and Blog.

This Unit does not require any prior e-learning knowledge and is structured such that you will be able acquire and integrate, as well as extend and refine, the knowledge and skills required to use e-learning technology effectively within your various learning environments.
