ENAE12012 Electronic Devices & Applications

Course details

This course introduces fundamental principles and concepts of analogue and digital electronic devices and their applications. It provides an overview of the operation and application of semiconductor devices, analysis of amplifier circuits, and digital circuits. Students interpret and use technical documents to obtain information about electronic devices and construct and validate practical electronic circuits. The course requires students to learn to work both collaboratively and autonomously and emphasises the importance of clear, professional documentation of the approach taken in solving problems.
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to have access to a computer, to make frequent use of the Internet, and are required to participate in Residential School activities.
