Course details

This course studies in detail the principles and processes of Software Engineering. The specification of a software system was introduced in COIS20025 Systems Development Overview. In this course we focus on the design implementation, validation, deployment and maintenance of complex software systems. The course also covers project management and quality assurance. The lecture material is complemented by tutorial and assignment work that introduces students to the practicalities of designing and developing a complex software system. Use of .NET framework to create forms for databases will be a practical component of this activity. A relatively small application will be designed and implemented in this course.
