Students intending to complete a plan in Economics and Finance MUST take MATH11246 Quantitative Methods A.

Special notes:
- Not all majors are available at all locations. Check the Plans for business programs page and course availability in this Handbook for availability of individual courses. In some cases it may be necessary to undertake a limited number of courses via Distance Education (FLEX) to complete the requirements of a major.
- Elective courses are required to give a total of 144 units of credit in the completed award.
- A maximum of 6 courses may be studied outside the Faculty of Business and Informatics.
- Students must complete at least 12 advanced level courses to meet the requirements of their degree program.
Elective courses
Elective courses may be selected from any 6 unit of credit undergraduate course offered by CQU, provided prerequisites have been met and subject to approval by the Dean.
