About Jazz Studies
The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) is responsible for the overview and development of music, theatre, dance and arts administration across the University.
This program explores the historical, contemporary, and theoretical aspects of jazz studies. Students are trained in music performances and composition, and develop skills through participation in workshops and professional concerts. Students also focus on performance improvisation skills.
