PROP19001 Statutory & Applied Valuation

Course details

Valuers are often called upon to perform valuations for statutory purposes and to support those valuations as an expert witness. This course will equip the students in undertaking these valuation tasks through their understanding of the processes that impact on the valuation and those resulting from legislation and subsequent Court decisions and interpretation of legislation. There will also be a discussion of the ethical issues involved in valuations.
