OCHS12001 Introductory Occupational Health and Safety

Course details

This course provides a foundation for understanding key concepts and principles related to the historical development and practice of the discipline of OHS. OHS legislative requirements form a framework for discussion of the key discipline areas. Concepts of worker characteristics, hazard, risk, workplace assessment, accident investigation, and OHS management are introduced to the learner. Successful completion of the course may include partial WHSO core module completion. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and the internet.
