THTR10058 Injury Management and Nutrition

Course details

This course includes the study of nutrition for daily health and optimum performance levels. This includes an understanding of major food groups, vitamins, energy foods and the use of foods in preparation for performance. Safe practices for injury prevention (including that of the vocal mechanism), and first aid will be emphasised, together with a study of the effects of alcohol and other substance abuse on performance levels.
