Course details

This course is one of four within the Graduate Certificate in Science (Biology Stream). It provides an introduction to modern biology through an examination of the basic concepts of cytology, anatomy, physiology, morphology, genetics, taxonomy and ecology, together with skills in research, including information retrieval, original critical thinking and report presentation. Emphasis throughout the course is placed upon a range of learning experiences intended to help students develop as independent learners.
