ENTC12003 Hydraulics

Course details

Water is a fluid which is of primary interest to civil engineers concerned with water conservation and supply, wastewater disposal, harbour and river works, flood mitigation, coastal engineering, irrigation and drainage. These and other fields involve a tremendous variety of hydraulic phenomena and hydraulic structures, machines, and systems. However, the same underlying principles of flow behaviour can be applied to all of them. Thus the aim of this program is to develop fundamental knowledge of hydraulic principles.
