Course details
Effective partnerships in contemporary environments are built on good communication. This course responds to the contemporary environment within which individuals and organisations must survive, grow, improve, transform and learn continously. It provides students with the fundamental concepts for understanding and implementing partnerships and network practices so that students develop enhanced specialist expertise in these tasks.
This course has been designed to enable you to participate in a range of authentic experiences to enable you to become an effective communicator. You will develop a range of pedagogical skills conducive to your success both within and beyond the university setting. This includes independent learning habits, a capacity to work with minimal supervision and in groups/teams as a productive member, as well as the capacity to demonstrate skills in written, oral, personal and global communications. Practical application of these skills through a variety of projects will enable you to plan, implement and reflect on communication processes.
This course provides opportunities for Bachelor of Learning Management and Bachelor of Creative Enterprise students to observe, understand and appreciate the complex networks associated with future learning. Students will be provided with opportunities to refine a range of communication skills and to reflect on the extent to which the information society impacts on education and work contexts.
