OCHS20019 Risk Management and Safety Technology

Course details

Safety technology as it relates to electrical, mechanical, chemical, radiation, fire, explosion, noise, vibration, impact, thermal and pressure hazards is the focus of this subject. Theories of accident causation, investigation processes, quantification, identification, analysis and control of hazards, and emergency planning will be discussed. Compulsory residential school for distance students. It is a requirement of this course to have access to the CQU website and internet.
