MMST11009 Introduction to Time-Based Media

Course details

In this course, students acquire knowledge of the ways that time and temporal qualities are utilised in three of the core channels of multimedia; sound, video and animation. Fundamental understanding of concepts and techniques that will prepare them for more advanced work in subsequent courses is developed. Students learn how to apply their knowledge of time-based media using appropriate industry-standard software. Students also learn a vocabulary with which to analyse media artefacts and practice evaluation of multimedia communication.
