Adult as well as private school education has become as much a business as it is an educational endeavour in the world today. This course critically looks in detail at the industry of English education from a management/marketing perspective as well as policy/ educational perspective. Students will explore how the business of English is currently practised in Australia and the world today, how it is regulated in Australia and how the industry of English education may develop in the next century given technological advances, electronic software developments in a context of globalisation.
