Course details

In a changing employment environment, it is critical that HR practitioners are aware of the most effective ways to attract and retain talent. This course provides an overview of the functions of human resource planning, recruitment and selection, and the associated legal and ethical considerations. Students will learn how to plan for the future staffing needs of the organisation and will analyse a variety of approaches to recruiting and selecting employees. The integration of HR planning, recruitment and selection with other HR and management functions is also addressed.
