Course details
Portal Task II (b) investigates educational issues by drawing on personal practical experience, gained through in-school activities associated with other courses as well as the Embedded Professional Practice. Personal experience is refined and elaborated through reference to theoretical constructs and broad ranging discipline knowledge and skills, so that in-school events/incidents can be reflected on in a broad, generalised educational context. Conversely, such a perspective establishes a strong basis for better understanding and dealing with issues encountered on site.
Support for Portal Task investigations will be provided by regular tutorial and workshop sessions at the university and by in-school learning managers.
