Program aim
The Diploma of Journalism provides an educational program in the essentials of journalism theory and practice. It provides an opportunity for students to acquire Internet research skills. Students will learn to work independently and as a member of a team, communicate effectively with other professionals, and communicate effectively utilising the internet.
Graduates of the Diploma can proceed to the Advanced Diploma of Journalism.

To obtain a Diploma of Journalism, a student must complete a total of four courses as follows:
