This course combines practical and theoretical approaches to interactive animation. Students will gain the technical and conceptual skills necessary to create and critically appraise interactive animations that are suitable for inclusion in Web-based multimedia projects. Practical work will involve the use of Macromedia Flash MX. Access to a multimedia computer with an Internet connection, audio capabilities, a CD-ROM drive, and a CD-burner or Zip drive is a requirement for this course. Students who enrol in this course are expected to have an understanding of the topics covered in MMST11002 Constructing Cyberspace.
