This program provides students with the opportunity to develop as professionals in areas of education, Japanese and one other discipline area. Graduates will be eligible to work as teachers of Japanese and in another discipline area in secondary schools. In addition, they will be able to seek employment in their chosen plan area. This program is a comprehensive tertiary program delivered through Japanese immersion and extensive practical experience in schools, industry, the community and in Japan.
The Bachelor of Professional Education (Japanese) degree enables students to obtain sufficient courses of study to have 2 teaching areas to Year 12. Courses in the proposed elective section of the course will consist of 8 electives chosen from any Faculty/discipline area.
