This program is designed to provide degree level education to supplement TAFE diplomas in Hospitality Management and degree programs in Tourism. It provides students an opportunity to widen their career prospects in Hospitality Management by exposing them to plan studies in Business related disciplines.
In addition to the completion of a TAFE Diploma in Hospitality Management or Tourism (12 subjects of credit), students must complete 12 courses with CQU, as described below:

Plus one plan consisting of 6 courses.
A plan is defined as 6 courses in a specialist area and must include at least 4 advanced level courses. One plan must be chosen from the following specialist areas offered by the Faculty of Business & Law.

NOTE:
Apart from the compulsory courses a maximum of 6 courses may be studied outside the Faculty of Business & Law. Students are limited to studying a maximum of 12 courses at Level 1 which includes the 6 compulsory courses.

Please note that full-time students usually enrol in four courses per term and part-time students usually enrol in two courses per term.
