Program Overview

This program is a double degree enabling students to qualify as professional physicists or teachers with specialisation in secondary education. See CA02 for further details of the Physical program. It provides students with the opportunity to develop as professional teachers through a comprehensive tertiary program and extensive practical experience in schools and the community. This program enables preservice teachers to prepare themselves to teach a range of secondary school subjects including:

Subject areas are offered depending on availability of discipline studies in that area and Education staff to teach the curriculum area.

Program Structure

This degree enables students to obtain 16 term courses of study in Physics and the equivalent of 6 terms of study in Mathematics; i.e. students have 2 teaching areas to Year 12.
