This program is a double degree for students wishing to enter the profession of teaching with specialisation in secondary education. It provides students with the opportunity to develop as professional teachers through a comprehensive tertiary program and extensive practical experience in schools and the community. Curriculum subject areas are offered depending on availability of appropriate curriculum studies in the discipline degree and the availability of pedagogical studies in the Learning Management degree. Application for Credit Transfer
Credit transfer will only be granted where a student is able to demonstrate that tertiary studies equivalent in content and depth to the CQU program has been successfully completed. Students should examine the course synopses in this handbook to determine the courses for which they may be eligible to claim exemption.
