Duration: 1 year full-time.

Accreditation: Accreditation is being sought for professional membership of the Australian Computer Society.
Exit Awards: Graduate Certificate in Electronic Commerce.

Entry Requirement

  • a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification or
  • a CQU Graduate Certificate in Electronic Commerce

Candidates must complete CQU admission form(s) for admission assessment, in conjunction with the above entry requirement.

Program Structure

To obtain a Graduate Diploma of Electronic Commerce, a student must complete a total of 6 courses comprised of:

at least two courses selected from the following:
COIS20024   Information Systems Overview ^
COIS20025   Information Systems Development ^
ECOM20001   Information Systems Management: e-Commerce Integration

MRKT20027   e-Marketing
LAWS20042   Law of Electronic Commerce and the Internet
• additional elective courses selected from the elective course list shown under the Master of Electronic Commerce CU14 to complete a total of 6 courses.

Notes:

^ These courses cannot be taken by students who have an undergraduate degree in computing or information systems. They must be taken for the Graduate Diploma of Electronic Commerce and Master of Electronic Commerce by students who do not have an undergraduate degree in computing or information systems.
