This program is designed to suit specialists in accounting or finance or professionals offering advice in these areas. The program content will provide students with the knowledge and analytical skills to address the financial management and decision making aspects of the organisation. There are two different program structures, one for accounting graduates and the other for graduates with any other degree.

Entry

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from an Australian university or college with a grade point average acceptable to the Dean.

Program Structure (12 courses)

Program A

For candidates with an undergraduate degree in accounting or postgraduate conversion program in accounting:

10 elective postgraduate courses from the Faculty of Business & Law, with at least 7 from Accounting, Finance, and Taxation areas. (A four-course dissertation on an approved accounting, finance or taxation topic would be deemed to satisfy part of this elective requirement.)

Program B

For candidates with an undergraduate degree in a discipline other than accounting:

There are no compulsory workshops in this program. However, students who select courses which are included in the core of the MBA should refer to the note on Workshops in that area.
