HonoursCB98 - Graduate Diploma of e-Learning
Program Aim
The Graduate Diploma of (e-Learning) is a specialist postgraduate degree consisting of six courses which normally takes 18 months to study and is available on a part-time basis only. The program structure requires the successful completion of two courses in each of three terms.
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be able to:-
- Design for learning that is enhanced and transformed by technology, based on a critical analysis of contemporary learning theory;
- Evaluate the affordances for learning offered by contemporary and emerging internet technologies;
- Create learning experiences that reflect considerations of technological pedagogical and content knowledge appropriate to learner needs;
- Assess the impact of past and present, local, national and international influences on learning, and critically reflect on the future of learning;
- Develop learning sequences that demonstrate alignment between the outcomes, pedagogical strategies, learning experience and assessment;
- Design and evaluate synchronous and asynchronous online collaborative learning; and
- Reflect on practice as a way of informing and improving as a learner, and as an educator.
Program Structure
Students are required to complete six compulsory core courses (48 units of credit).
