About e-Learning
The Graduate Diploma of e-Learning is designed for teachers and trainers in all fields of education. These include the K-12, Higher Education, business, industry and corporate fields. The program integrates professional knowledge about learning and technology with practical, experience-based learning. It will result in professionals who are able to facilitate and drive institutional learning through Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in distance, blended, and face to face learning contexts. The program identifies contemporary practices and technologies to support, enhance and transform learning. It supports learners in maintaining currency in global learning futures with ICT, and emerging trends in technology-based learning. The program is flexible and supports individualised learning within each individual's teaching and training context. Outcomes include the technical skills to support learning with ICT, together with the creativity and inventiveness that emerge from strong pedagogical design foundations. The program is delivered wholly online, with flexibly scheduled synchronous tutorials, and asynchronous interactive and collaborative activities modelled in a range of online spaces.
