Career Opportunities
Psychologists are employed in a wide and diverse range of areas including clinical work, counselling, neuropsychology, child development, education, forensic, health, organisational and sports psychology, as well as in teaching and research. The majority of psychologists work in the private sector, although significant numbers are employed by government departments and agencies. By successfully completing the Graduate Diploma of Psychology, you will become eligible for provisional registration with the Psychology Board of Australia. From there, you will be able to apply for admission onto further specialist courses in order to train for work in a particular field of Psychology.
About Psychology
