About Multimedia
The term "multimedia" refers to interactive forms of digital media that combine elements such as text, graphics, animation, audio and video. Mobile applications, web sites, computer games and DVDs are all examples of multimedia. The Bachelor of Multimedia Studies prepares students for a career in the digital media industries by equipping them with essential technical and creative skills. The program features courses in areas such as graphic design, web design, web application development, video production and post-production, interface design, photography, illustration, 3D modelling and animation, game design, social media, mobile application development, project management and more. Students can pursue a major in digital media production, information technology, or a combination of those two areas. Graduates from this program can create digital content for a variety of applications including communication, business, education and entertainment.
