Career Opportunities

Assistant building surveyors  interpret and enforce laws and regulations controlling residential buildings (Building Code of Australia [BCA] Class 1 and 10) and work for local government, state and federal authorities including licensing and code boards, and private certifiers.

Your study program will cover building legislation, building auditing, fire safety design and inspection procedures along with construction, building materials, engineering services, professional practice and communication. Principles of sustainability are integrated throughout the program.
