MEDI11002 Physics for Health Sciences

Course details

This course creates the foundations for an understanding of physics as it applies to health sciences instrumentation, computerisation, and other applications of physical phenomena in physiological processes and diagnostic practices. Principles of sound, light, electricity, the electromagnetic spectrum, radiation physics, fluids and gases will be applied to the use and manipulation of instrumentation used in health professions. Tutorials will allow a focus on discipline specific requirements.
