MDWF20010 Contexts of Midwifery Practice

Course details

This course introduces students to the contexts of midwifery practice focusing on the broader relationships and settings of midwifery care, maternity services and public health. Students will explore the role of the midwife as primary care provider in a variety of settings. Students will examine the impact of education and health promotion strategies on the experiences and outcomes for childbearing women and families.
