Course details

This course introduces candidates to the objectives and structure of the Doctor of Professional Studies. It establishes the rules and requirements for awarding the degree, and focuses students on their individual topics of critical inquiry. The course provides a solid reference base for the construct of critical inquiry in terms of problem setting the research topic within the context of Mode-2 society. In this pursuit, the nature and application of Mode-2 knowledge production are analysed with specific reference to the industry in which the research will take place. Students will analyse and justify the knowledge gap which the research aims to address.
