MEDI13001 Science and Instrumentation 3

Course details

This course will expand on students' prior study of x-ray equipment and imaging processes with particular focus on specialised imaging modalities. This includes a solid theoretical and technical foundation to Computed Tomography to enable safe and effective scan technique. Students will be introduced to the physical and operational principles of advanced medical imaging modalities including angiography, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound imaging.
