SPCH13002 Research in Practice 1

Course details

In this course students build on their understanding of clinical research methods in speech pathology and learn about the role of research in a variety of applied contexts. Students¿ understanding is consolidated as they acquire the knowledge and skills to conduct critical evaluation of pertinent literature and apply evidence based practice (EBP) principles to speech pathology practice. Students are introduced to a critical appraisal framework for quantitative research, with an emphasis this term on the use of inferential statistics.
