ENEE14004 Electronic Communications

Course details

This course introduces students to electronic communication systems, technology, and typical applications. It outlines key concepts and describes digital and analogue communications systems; media, mechanisms and modes of transmission; signal processing; and devices used in communications networks. Students analyse communications systems using mathematical techniques and communicate effectively using the technical communications terminology. They work, learn and communicate in a professional manner, alone and in teams, and use information literacy skills to investigate problems and present solutions.
Distance education (FLEX) students are required to have access to a computer, to make frequent use of the Internet.
