BUSN14001 Business Research Methods

Course details

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge necessary to understand different research approaches and methodologies and to develop skills for applying these research methods to business studies. Students will examine and consider key steps in developing a research strategy with a range of research tools and methodologies, gain an understanding of quantitative and qualitative approaches to important research related issues, and will design their own honours research project. Students will be trained in the analysis and presentation of results and guidelines will be provided for the preparation and writing of a dissertation. The assessments take students through the process of producing a research proposal which forms the basis for commencing a research program.
