Course details

This course considers a range of contemporary issues related to health professional practice and education, such as new paradigms for health professional education, mandatory versus voluntary continuing professional education, professionalization, cultural issues, ethical issues, medico-legal issues and evidence-based practice. Students will explore regional, national and international trends in health professional education and examine relevance within educational initiatives.
