PODI13012 Paediatrics in Podiatry Practice

Course details

This course will focus on the study of childhood disorders as they affect the lower extremity and will include presentations of normal and abnormal development. Students will incorporate the psychosocial issues impacting in treating children and learn to develop history taking, physical examination and diagnosis specific to the paediatric patient. An evidence-based approach to clinical management of the paediatric patient in podiatry practice will be central to this course.
