MDWF20011 Transition to Practice

Course details

This course enables students to consolidate the knowledge, skills and values developed over time in accordance with the Australian Nursing and Midiwfery Council (ANMC) National Competency Standards for the Midwife (2006). It is aimed at providing a context for students to finalise continuity of care experiences and demonstrate their readiness for registration and their willingness to engage in continuing professional development towards a competent, scholarly, accountable, autonomous, responsible and reflective midwife. There is a compulsory 5-day residential school attached to this course.
