OCCT14006 Professional Practice 3 (Honours)

Course details

In this course honours students will complete a minimum of 420 hours of supervised professional practice. During these placements students will integrate previously acquired knowledge (theories and principles of occupational therapy) with professional practice experience. By the end of this course students will be expected to be working as an entry level practitioner and engage in management activities related to the professional practice setting. Students may be required to undertake professional practice placements away from their home town at their own expense. Additionally students will attend 48 hours of research focused seminars, workshops and library activities linked to this course. Finally students will be required to implement their research project and commence data collection.
